[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today no heavy Post Processing but just a plain picture.
The background is untouched snow.
The head of the post is corroded, a little wet for better reflection and has a big rusted thought whole.
I really could passed it before I took this picture.

Later on the evening I found this archaeological object
Isn’t it a remarkable coincidence.

Mooie foto met deze verweerde, doch glimmende paal! Prachtige kleuren en de felle witte achtergrond past er goed bij!

Very interesting pattern shown here. Your explanations were essential to understand the picture. Otherwise I would have personally some difficulties to understand what it was.

Excellent! I like the relief... The contrasting effect! The texture of the rust with the wet is very powerfull! Great shot!

Bonsoir Rob, c'est une bonne idée. Il y a du relief et le contraste est tranchant. L'effet de matière est bien mis en évidence. Beau cadrage, joli travail.

Good evening Rob, it is a good idea. There is relief and contrast is sharp. The effect of matter is well highlighted. Beautiful framing, pretty work.

My points are corroded too. At tomorrow

What a fantasticphoto this rusted pole allowed you to do ;-)
It's fantastic when simple things like this result in photos with great visual effect. Well done!!
Points later, ok??

Hi Rob, the exciting possibilities of snow...love it. Just a rusted pole (great textures here) against this void of white. So elementary yet evocative. Love the hard contrast and the snowed rings 'round the pole, integrating in in the void. Strong job!

Nice details of this simple yet interesting subject. the water reflections add alot of texture and color to this photo. Nice shot.

Nice work Rob.
Reminded me of my previous posting, same kind of perspective, different material.

Hi Rob, Like a cooky with a bite taken out. Like it.
Regards,
Paul

Not a beautiful object, but you captured it very neatly, Rob. The wet surface really enhances the shot IMO. Your composition works very well due to the angle. Nice framing too. Well done, TFS.
