Great picture, Rob! Love the Zoo, so many good photo ops. What I found though is that the best pictures you get only shortly before closing time. Most animals either hide or sleep mid-day.

Het frame is niet echt mijn ding, Rob... maar je foto is perfect. Van het hekwerk is niets te zien, de scherpte is perfect en de scherptediepte gering. Mooi. Om die poot uit het frame echt te laten werken heb je volgens mij wel een schaduw nodig, nu lijkt het wat vlakjes.

I love the coat on this leopard(?--I'm not a cat expert); as it goes from black and white to tank and black, it matches every outfit. Nice capture and presentation, and the paws extend out of the frame.

Yes, You're right, leopard's a majestic animal. And I'm right, too: this is a majestic image. :) Absolutely great photo of the resting kitten. Great soft colors, and the over-the-frame technique is a great plus, You've done it well.

Don't take that "professor" seriously who said this is nothing interesting. I'm not sure You know TrekNature, but that site (a serious wildlife photography site, which doesn't accept photos of pets or cultivated plants, for example) allows animal photos from zoo, if the fence isn't visible at all. And this image will be accepted by TN (without the artistic frame), not only because its rules, but also due to it's interesting. It's nice to be brave hidden under stupid nicknames...
