Really great colors. The lines on the boat are just a bit oversharpened IMO, but the clouds look good, as well as the water.

De brandende lantaarn met daarachter de donkere wolkjes,perfectie jan!
Ikzelf had de horizon ietje meer recht uitgebalanceerd en een klein beetje gecompenseerd met de palen en masten van de boot of ben ik nou een vervelende ouwehoer?

fine perspective and beautiful colors. The street lamp's light creates a magic atmosphere in contrast with the other dark silhouettes.

Hi Janneke,

That is a very nice evening shot of Volendam! I'm a bit ashamed that I only posted one image before - on trekeart - of the Netherlands. I just never took the time when I'm home to take pictures, though you show us that there is enough beauty around!
A pity about the tilted horizon. I'm not sure you saw it. I added a workshop. Quality is not really that good, but it's more to show you the use of transformation tools.

Hi Janneke! Very lovely shot w/ the inclusion of the warm light from the lamp post. I like the lighting and exposure. The horizon is a bit tilted. A bit of pulling the images using the warp and skew would do the trick.
