[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I captured this one while walking on the beach in Dishoek in February: a sunny, not too cold day. It wasn't until I looked at the pictures at home that I noticed the way Dingo's paws were positioned.

I also like the way the ship in the back is heading in the opposite direction.

Tech talk

In-camera compo, no cropping.

Due to the exposure metering, Dingo came out too dark. I applied levels on the backdrop after I copied Dingo to another layer. Then again applied layers, with very different settings, on the "Dingo layer".

Downsized for TL as per usual in a couple of steps.

Mooi Frank!

Hi Frank,

A very nice capture, with lovely afternoon lighting, very good POV, DOF and very interesting composition. Dingo, once more the main point of interest and his reflection on the wet sand great.
Well done

Die is mooi! Gaat de hond ook wel eens in het water? Ik vind dit schip ook zo dicht bij.

Good image. Nice ballance with the dog & ship.

Hey Frank,

If and when I take Max to the beach it's always entertaining, he's a bit of a sissy, but very curious. So what happens is, he'll run to the edge where the water starts, and just before he jumps in, he halts (always looks like he's braking) and he'll look over wagging his tail, and moan because he's scared of it!! :P Silly dog.

Your Dingo looks much more courageous! Lovely picture, very pleasant, though personally I'd have liked a view better excluding the ship. But that's just a personal preference, the image still excels in lovelyness. ;P Later,

Biance.

ps: See you soon.

Leuke compositie Frank !
Goeie keuze om 't spel te " bevriezen "

Ik kan amper serieus een ei bakken, dus moet ik het vragen : " wat is er speciaal aan Dingo's poten ? "

Groetjes

Jan
