[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Inspired by the handheld driving shot of Nico Coblyn, here another one in my 'handheld photography, knee-held driving" series ;-).

Why is it that only men seem to be doing this?!

The gears are grinding
The sun is shining
It's gonna be a beautiful day

(The shot is taken on the border area between the Netherlands and Belgium, somewhere south of Breda and Tilburg. I quite often don't know where I am when looking for mud puddles with my Land Rover oldtimer after a rainy morning...)

Greetings to you all!
Dennis

Nice one Dennis,I like the overexposure effect feels as if you are driving into nothingness.
That car would go well here in my back paddocks.

< een goede poging om de snelheid er in te houden...Wees voorzichtig!

What is it that only men are doing then Dennis? It's only that when I see a shot like this I feel that I have to warn for the dangers, but I sometimes have my camera around my neck for a quick shot or two - most of the time it really does not work - so tell no-one. But driving around in an old timer Landrover, no that's a long time ago - of no it was a Range Rover, well whatever.
Nice experiment.
I would make a focussed shot of the front of the car and paste that in this picture....

Explosief goed Dennis
Hele speciale opname
Geweldig gedaan
En wij komen voorbij dit plekje want we gaan ook een dagje naar Brugge,
Kom jij ook even over on de week met ons rond te trekken ? *__*
Groet en fijn weekend
John

Leuke actiefoto !!
Kun je nagaan wat een kwaliteit dat spul heeft. Ten eerste heeft het old-timer kunnen worden en dan is het nog steeds in staat om door modderpoelen heen te beulen.
Groeten terug.
Joop!

i have seen the shot of ralph.. but your is better.. more definition.. and the real sense of speed.. a great mood with a shot that it is still a photo.. (not so changed).. it's a good job (PP?), well done..
ciao Marco

Hello Dennis,

Wonderful feel of speed here.
The effect is really great, and catches the eye. TFS

Well done Dennis on this funny shot ! I like the feel of it, you've done it well. The overexposed high lights seems to enhance the feel of speed. Thanks,

Mario

Hello Dennis

Being a Brazilian, I admire the Dutchmen a lot that here live in my country, his culture and their wonderful things that brought for it is us wonderful.
Mainly an alone city of Dutchmen, where they cultivate flowers and they export for everyone. Great people!
I found beautiful his picture, all this speed and these trees going by our eyes as if they ran to all.
Beautiful visual and compo, taste in the way of as the leaves they are in the speed.
Congratulations
