Ja hallo daar - Rob, die van jouw heeft totaal geen make-up nodig, maar omdat de mijne is opgepoets zal ik haar vragen kennis te komen maken ^-^.
This is quite a beautiful picture Rob, can see all the tiny feathers and it is presented in the best way possible.
Heb nog nooit zo'n bruin koppie gezien - wat een speciale meeuwen hebben jullie daar in het verre Zoetermeer!

Zeg, die vogel begint al te rotten aan de kop !! Net als een banaan, die kleur dan.
Mooie plaat, goede compo en mooie kleuren. Al lijkt ie mij niet helemaal scherp :-O
Desondanks toch een goed pov.

Interesting type of gull, probably turned that head color indulging in dutch chocolate!
Wouldn't be a good turkey substitute, even if you could catch it. Like swan, they are a tough eat!

It is not a very good image of a turkey, but it is a fabulous image of a gull. I really like the head.. it looks almost velvet. Great POV and colour. Very nice. TFS

HI Rob, I like your Christmas turkey's pose - I think he's trying to look like a seagull to fool you!!
To me the whites of the neck are quite burnt / over-exposed, but all your friends like it, so I'm sorry I give a negative reply. I'm not sure if you want me to write what I think?

Anway, a nice colourful photo here, I think that your composition is spot-on and I like the soft focus background and the pose of the bird. Everything else is sharp and well presented.

Mooie kokmeeuw, Rob. Goeie compo, al vind ik de felle tak op de achtergrond nogal om aandacht schreeuwen... Ook de felbelichte, zelfs een beetje verbrande, zijkant van de meeuw zou beter kunnen. Heb je deze in raw? Dan zou je een en ander wel kunnen corrigeren.

Composition is excellent - The bird is cleverly placed well clear of the centre.. but then, it turns it's head to face (or gaze) at the wider space in the picture - A classic finish !!
