this is a wonderful and wonderful shot!
a rainy cool air of this town is excellently expressed.
I especially like the standing girl with an umbrella, and 2 bicycles. these composition is excellent. and horizontal lines (on the road and the signal pole), vertical lines of the building and (orange and gray) stripe of the tent, these makes impressive space. and shining colors of signal-light, red and blue in show-window and orange light in the shop, all are so beautiful in the total gray wet space of this shot. and of course, the color of the rainy surface on the road is supreme...
if I were the editor of photo journal, I'll adopt this and place this the top page.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Elena,

wonderful composition, very nice colours. It looks like the painting - a paradox here is that there are so many objects here, so many details, that one could think it can't create anything else but mess... But it's not true - the shot is very well organized, clear and very readable. I don't know how did you do it, but it's a fact. Someone said that the difference between a masterpiece and a junk is sometimes as little as 10 cm change in POV... This possibly applies here - I love this shot *s* tfs
