Welcome to TL! What a superb first contribution! This is as great as simple. Two men and a dog on an endless land. It's so poetic, somehow it reminds me 'Knocking on the heaven's door', its mood and atmosphere. I like every detail here, its duotone colours palette and light and shallow DOF - just excellent!

POV and selective DOF are very good here....
to have focused the light part in first plane increases the contrast with the more dark and far away part.... the two persons seem realy in another plane.....

What a grand entry this is to start your additions to this web. It looks so familiar to me and it's almost feels like being there. Welcome to you on TrekLens Anneke.
A very nice photo indeed! The good DOF (depth of field) draws the view over the beach, the horizon is softly broken by the two people and the dog. The warm and simple colortones make the image a nice view to look at. I agree with joker, same impression.
I think your border is in good proportions, to me a little bit to modern but still it looks right. Not to thick and not to small. The cutout you made fits the composition well.

Wandelen met de hond op het strand... prachtig! Ik vind je scherptediepte heel goed, de voorgrond in focus en de wandelaars onscherp... en de horizon op de bovenste 1/3de lijn. Prachtige kleur ook. Een mooie eerst post op TL Anneke, wees welkom. TFS (Thanks for sharing).

This is a nice post. I like the figures being out of focus in the background as it adds a real feeling of depth. But some info on the picture would have been nice.

Great sense of DOF and cropping. It is very intimate to see the stir in the water and three? approaching figures. Your photos speak! Great stuff.

The low PoV is very nice.

This photo could easily be used as a book-cover. You did very well with this photo Anneke, I'd love it if I could say that I took this photo. I guess I'll have to re-arrange my favourites so I can add this one too it. And by the way, fantastic POV... really nice angle, adds a lot too the photo.
