Back to May... A nice sunny, warm photo...
As today here in Massachusetts it is damp, dark, and cold... I know boo hoo poor me! ;)

Here is a photo I took in May while we where on vacation in St Maarten.....

Here we see Sara and Noah (my kids) on the rougher side of Simpson Bay... IF you look close you will see they both have red plastic cups that they where planning on catching the TINY yellow fish that get stuck in the tide pools..... it is sad but NO they did not catch any fish for dinner. Instead we had to try out the new steak house on the Hotels property.. shucks!

I was fixing the horizon (need to think about that before I press the button) and I liked the way it was off so figure I'd keep it.. (I have seen a few photos from Robert aka PERRYHOOTER like this)

Enjoy..... looking forward to tomorrows Fun Friday shots! :)

Hi Tricia,
I like the photo for sure, the kids searching the beach for "treasures" brings back alot of great memories for me with my kids at the beach in Maine. Great shot catching the waves splasing on the shore and really nice color tones. I like the PP work the framing makes it look like a snapshot in a scrapbook, neat effect. TFS

Hi Tricia,
Lovely to see the Netherlands from it's most sunny side again! Normally I would be thinking of packing, but we have to wait until the end of January and then it's of to the sun (Aruba). That island also has 1 side with a very rough sea and rocks.
Lovely fun picture and ohhhh that warmth and sun.

Hi Tricia. Although 50-50 horizontal splits are generally considered "de rigeur" it works here due to the 3 layers of foreground rocks, sea and sky. It also helps that you have the figures nicely placed in the image and an offset presentation. All of which goes to show that rules are meant to be broken. All other technical aspects are as they should be. Nice work.
Vic.

Excellent colour Tricia. Nicely composed, very good foreground detail and good framing and text work. TFS,
David
