[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another one taken during the TL meet in the LowLands.

Ann & I hopped over to Holland for the week-end, to continue our meet with Yolanda, Vandana, Tanya, John and Vassili.
I have to pay my humble respects to John, as everything was impeccably organised.

Not everything we did that week-end was about photography, as you can see in Vandana's last post... but as photography obviously is important to us, John surprised us with a unique opportunity; he had chartered a helicopter for an hour and offered us the chance to take shots from a birds eye perspective.

I'm glad my lens has a stabiliser, flying in a helicopter sure is a shaky business. Anyway, this one turned out alright I think... it's the Royal Theatre (Koninklijk Theater in Flemish, Koninklijke Schouwburg in Dutch - thanks JT! {☺_☺}) in the city of The Hague.
Thanks for this opportunity, John!

Another view can be seen here.

Tech talk

A slight perspective correction.

Then the usual stuff: levels, shadows & highlights, downsized in a couple of steps and added a small frame.

WOOOW
Frank .. a little jewel
What a nice strong posting, all the details are good.
You did a clever thing by putting the trees in here in a way we cannot measure them with the houses.
Infact.. no one could see this is a miniature vilage
In DenHaag we also call it in ' de volks mond'
*De koninklijke Schouwburg*

Hello Frank,
A nice perspective capturing and cropping the one building, and the roofs of the others . . . and good control of light and very nice details.

Hi Frank

Good sharpness & nice symmetry, between the 2 halves of the same buiding. A marvellous high vantage point, & tfs!

Grappig !
Toen ik de foto zag en in de note " helicopter " las, dan voelde ik al iets aan m'n water LOL
Maar toch een mooie foto : POV, DOF en de kleuren zijn goed gekozen.

TFS
Groetjes

Hi Frank,

So this is the view from a helicopter!!lol!!!! Nice try, but nevertheless a great photo, good enough to fool someone about the scale. Very sharp, well composed and very good detail.
TFS,
Greetings to the gang,
