Hi Vandana
I'm a Monet fan as well, and this certainly does him justice. I really like the way the slightly wobbly reflections of the plants at the back offset the clarity of the flower, which is so perfectly placed in the centre, with just the right amount of light on it, itself reflecting so clearly off the water. Even the algae in the top right fits in just so.

Very nice painting,oups photo of the waterlily.If he had lived in our times, Claude Monet could have been a photographer besides being a painter. Point of view, depth of field, colors, rule of thirds, everything is there for a good photo

Yes, Monet was a great painter, I remember learning about him in primary scool ages ago (it seems like... So pity we won't be younger). But I'm more than sure if I ever learn in a photo school, this image will be mentioned as an example how to do it... Absolutely perfect masterpiece. One of Your best captures (from the many good...).
