Maar de kleine dingen - inderdaad, het is een leerproces, maar naarmate je ouder wordt, wordt de waardering voor de kleinste dingen steeds groter. Gelukkig maar.

Fine moment was captured, great portrait. But I'm afraid Ruut's right in the case of overexposure. Just did a quick WS - before realizing You didn't allow it... 7 out of 10 by my opinion, due to the overexposure, otherwise nice image. Best regards, László

Prachtplaat met veel emotionele waarde Josine. Wel eens met Ruut vwb de OE maar dat kan je aanpassen. Btw je opa lijkt wel op Appie Baantjer.

De achtergrond leidt wel af, maar toch komt de oude baas goed over. Heel fijn dat dit 'soort' (positief bedoeld) mensen nog bestaat.

A very colourful portrait, Josine. You're right, we should treasure our grandparents. I admit I could have some improvement here...
Nice sharpness, but I'd definitely recommend a much smaller f-stop (f4 or f3.5) for portraits - that blurs the background more. Especially the letters are a bit distracting here.

Well composed Josine. A little light in colour perhaps but still a fine portrait. Two of my grandparents died when I was about 2, the others one when I was 14 an my last grandmother when I was about 23. TFS,

say hello to your gimpa, Josine :) that what we used to called my grandpa on my mom's side. I miss him dearly and your grandpa remind me of him. my granpa had little dutch blood in him from what i heard. even my 2 great aunts were married to dutch men (his 2 sisters)..

anyway nice shot of your grandpa.. great sharpness and detail.
