Another winter-snow-photo from Enschede (Holland)

In fact, it's no snow but hoar-frost or rime (In Dutch: "Rijp")

Frost is a solid deposition of water vapor from saturated air. It is formed when solid surfaces are cooled to below the dew point of the air next to the surface.
Frost crystals' size differ depending on time and water vapor available. Frost is also usually translucent in appearance. There are many types of frost, such as radiation and window frost. It is also a major destroyer of plants.

So I hope you enjoy our "Rijp", because it's all gone in Holland!

Hij is mooi al vond ik de vorige met de bomen in de zon mooier... Hij was in ieder geval lichter..

Heey Janneke,

komt me bekend voor zo'n foto!
Is het gemaakt in het Van Heek park?
Daar heb ik op 21 dec (precies de 1e winterdag!) vlug wat foto's gemaakt...
Maar eigenlijk allemaal mislukt, volgens mij ligt het echt aan mn camera maar goed.

In welk programma'tje voeg je trouwens de tekst toe? Mij lukt dat namelijk nooit zo mooi.
