Great windmill shot, and this is so representative of Netherlands. I cannot believe that you have captured such a colorful still image here with clear blue sky below which is thin layer of cloud.

Very sharp and good contrast in this composition, and high saturation to make it superbly attractive.

And you did it on Canon S3! Great job. TFS

This is a superb sharp image of the so well know windmill at the Kinderdijk. So you visited this place as I did with JohnT and his gang :-) The steel blue sky is a real bonus, it's not quite often so clear in Holland. Excellent posting my dear.

A very nice windmill photo, Sorina. Yep, April was nice weather. From May on weather turned dull and grey, and summer was gone before it had begun :-(

Hi Sorina, now this is what I call an image of a Windmill
I have taken images of the ones on the Spanish plains that Don
Quixote had supposedly attacked & they were so much smaller
& less intimading to me than I thought they would be after reading the book:)I like how you practically fill the whole frame with this structure,nice capture of the light to.TFS

Such beautiful clarity and composition!!!
The blue is very clear and sharp- not too dark or too bright. Taken at the right time of day; the shadows make the picture more interesting, and the water looks nice as well.
