Great scene, love the detail of the line of ducks tacking off from the water. Also like the predominance of green contrasted by the red of the roof, shame the sky wasn't a bit more interesting though.

Hoi hans, een heel mooi soft-tafereeltje. De vogels die wegvliegen geeft wat beweging in de foto. De scheiding tussen de daklijst en de lucht is bijna niet te zien, maar ja, het weer heb je vaak niet voor het uikiezen....:)
Mooie witte omlijsting...:)

I sayd that this was the best of the serie you showed me! and still I used the filter on it....
well you asked me to. I love the result. Not so much for the "romantic" blur, but more because of the intence colors!

....don't know what 'gothic glow filter is' but I have a 'nik color efex pro' plug-in that produces similar results (used it a couple of times, came with my wacom tablet).
About ducks: I like them (Peking style), but couldn't find any this Christmas. Maybe birdflu?

i love this one the green houses with green surrounding and i remembered JT has the same shot but from different angle..

well captured.. love the sharpness and detail. this is the first time i heard about this Gothic Glow effect. the result is fantastic.

Je compositie ziet er goed uit, het ziet er zeer rustig uit en fijn om de zwanen te zien vliegen. Het is misschien een tikkeltje aan de donkere kant. Maar dat heeft ook weer scharme.

I love the ‘Fievels Gothic glow’ look to it Hansie. It does give it an unusual glow and I think it makes the pleasant scene look even better.

P.S. It won't have been the CANON scaring the ducks off - most prob was the other camera - oh, I've forgotten its name - um, Nero, no. Nissan, no! Something like that...

A very good capture of the ducks taking off, with superb colour & sharpness. A small pity for the white sky. But the reflections in the canal, & the diffused light, are an equal trade off. Tfs!

I love all of the green in the photo. The tile roofs give the photo a wonderful "zing"!I've not heard of the glow filter before but it made a beautiful photo.

Hoi Hans,
Ook weer een prachtplaat van deze Schans. Ik heb er al heel wat gezien, maar nog niet op deze manier. De thumbnail ziet er wat vettig uit, maar als je het open klikt, dan valt het wel mee. Ben niet zo kapot van dit effect .... misschien een tikkie overdreven gebruikt. Maar het is zéker 2 punten waard. -)
