[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shot of a little boy at a wedding last summer.

I was asked to do the wedding shoot. My first time ever and they didn't have backup in case I f****ed up. Made tons of mistakes but in the end had enough material for the newly weds to be satisfied.
This little fella caught my attention and I took the shot. Background is an old Volkswagen Beetle for those interested.

Not the best lighted shot in my series but I think worth the posting.
Detected my beginners mistake in this shot????

Converted in DPP. Saved as TIFF after sharpening
Opened in PS CS3: increased clarity, saturation.
Cropped slightly
Resized and framed.
Sharpened a little bit more

the light doesn't bother me, cause the kid's eyes and expression but also the nice bg are making this capture very special.

I don't know quite how you managed the light, but it's good! Don't be so modest. The backlight on his hair works well but there is plenty of diffuse light also on his face.

The background bokeh is spot-on, good choice of location.

This works very well in my opinion. Nice photography!

I like this! I am not experienced enough to comment on the technicalities but this is a very pleasing photo with good emotion and clarity although maybe a little too bright but that does not really bother me.

blauw shirt, blauwe ogen en dan die blauwe achtergrond.... echt helemaal goed!
