[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
That Sunday John Tulip drove Yolanda, Vandana, Vassili, Tanya, Ann and me to The Hague, the seat of the Dutch Government. These buildings are the Dutch Houses of Parliament.

Tech talk

A difficult sky, rather flat, so I converted the shot to B&W in CS3, using the b&w tool so I could tweak 6 channels individually.

Levels, Shadows & Highlights, Curves.

Downsized and framed with 2 home-tailored PS actions.

I like the drama in it!!
I'm just waiting for some kind of monster jumping out of the water :)

Hi Frank
That's a very good composition seizing the whole building. The picture is clear and it goes quite well with B&W.
Nicely done
Serge

Deear Frank, although in my opinion a little dark(personal.)a very good B&W attemp and fine setting.

Hallo Frank,
Winderige dag in september. Zo te zien een echte kleurloze dag, dus zwart-wit lijkt me meer dan passend hier.
Aan de donkere ramen links in het torentje te zien is Balkenende niet aan het werk.
groet Rob

Hi Frank

Nice B&W version of this historical architecture. Must be interesting to see old building like this, well preserved and at such good setting.

TFS, bill

Hi Frank,

Once more pleasant memories come back from our meet. Wonderful B&W version of this impressive building, captured from a nice POV, the lighting, contrast and tones excellent! The composition is very good, and the presentation great.

Hoi Franf,
Donkere wolken pakken zich samen boven onze regeringsgebouwen.
Onze publieke omroep gaat “deep throat” uitzenden
Mooi beeld want het baard ze zorgen onze af glijdende maatschappij ;-)
