I think my little Nissan sedan would look strange with a platform on top John. A well composed image good colour and fine detail. Ihave asked this question of others but am yetto get an answer from an of them...why mix and match imaging programs? Each one has a different compressioin ratio. TFS,

Hello Sir John,
When we had peace in country, we use have a lot of tourists. Even when I was a child, Japanese tourist were identified with their uniqueness and that was a number of cameras per capita.
A beautiful moment has been taken in this frame. Nice capture of the capturing moment. Well done my friend.
Thanks for sharing this image.

That van sure is a nice solution for shooting in overcrowded tourist areas, John. It just needs some iron & concrete bumbers on all sides to push them aside ;o)
Standing there cannot really be that steady, especially in crowded areas - or even on a windy day, though.
I like the way you let the van pop out of the frame, that adds some nice dynamics to the picture.
Hey, I can't find anything to nit-pick about. Damn.

Very interesting to read the Note, and such gorgeous Japanese girls shooting from van top. Must be serious pro stuff, or else doing a project assignment?
Great capture of the moment and nicely framed.

Hallo John.

Hi John
This is a very relevant photo of photographs making photos.Even if she's on the top of the van, the girl has to stand on tip-toe to make her photo. That's a lovely and humorous picture well exposed and an interesing artistic border.
Thanks

John,
If I stood on the roof of this van, I'd have to answer to the insurance company! Good timely capture here, I see a LOT of strange things like this in Japan. Great composition and details here. Not sure (I never am) about the frame. If you are going to have a frame I suppose one that is interesting like this is effective as any. Good capture John,
Scott

What is there to say except that it is great as usual.Love the nose of the car popping out of the frame.
I have the van but would not have the energy to climb on top. Definitely would be a traffic stopper.

Hi John,
Leuk moment, mooie presentatie.

Hi John! There are really lots of Japanese and Koreans who are very avid with photography. Here in the Philippines, they're everywhere, with great hi-tech cam gears. Very good selection with lovely out-of-bounds composition. Your place is one of the most photogenic city in the world. I'm sure I'll come back for more snaps :)
Cheers!

Just two questions: why are your notes always in bold, and are the daily quotes supposed to be closely related with the photos themselves?
Just wondering...
