Interesting gadget. It appears to be used to put tension on the top wire. Portrayed well!

He Frans,

Frans,
Thanks to "no parking" I've discovered your gallery for the first time - and I've ended up here "fencing".
Lots of wonderful "simple" images which show a keen eye for extracting graphical visions from the everyday world. Marvellous.
But here's my critisism!!! The framing! Somewhere doen the line you've clearly leant to "colour pick" two tones from the image and make these into a border. I know, I know, I've heard the theory loads of times "picking colours directly from the image means the border will directly compliment the image". And, yes, sounds like a great theory, BUT, it just doesn't work. It's framing with a theoretical HEAD - rather than an eye - an what my eye says, what my heart says, is "forget it" - just go simple white, simple black, just a small simple clear distinction of the image's borders. All these colours, too complicated, too confusing - drowing the images not assisting them.
Well, that's my view - one example attached as a workshop - don't think I'm going to convince you - but I think it's worth a try!
Apart from which - really nice set of images!! ;)
Regards
Colin
