Lovely scene - very peaceful...
I think the frame's too large for the picture though - makes the actual photo ( the point of interest ) a bit small to see the details.

Hi Hans - I am going to agree with WhiteKnight/David on this one.

There are some great features to the image - the tones, reflections and the tree on the left, for example. All good points and the scene itself is very pretty indeed.

But I think that thick frame has led to the image itself feeling cramped, everything too close together. And maybe the main tree is too central, plus it partially blocks that lovely building behind it. It may not have been possible, but if you could have moved to your right a bit, then more of that building could have been in view?

Pretty scene, lovely details, great colours - but the frame squezzes it too much, I think.

I love the colours here but I must admit the tilt is off-putting -- I see you have made the mistake that many of us have made -- of posting "the wrong one" -- I do hope that you will repost??

Indeed, Hans, it looks better with the tilt corrected ;o). Apart from that, I love it. The light is magnificent... and the compo you used reminds me of some of the old painters of the Golden Age...
