The sea has such a beautiful color.

Very warm and inviting , Els. I love the motion of the water stopped. Great contrasts and super composition. I do hope your camera is ok. Sand as fine as there is not your camera’s friend. Lovley notes and fine presentation.

Excellent shot on that brave guy. Perfect watercolours. Good action. Not bad for a dirty lens.!
Ever been at the shore north of Biaritz / Bione ?
Very strong waves sometimes comming over the beach for 20 meters, unexpected. When in the sea, both hands needed to 'save' your swimsuit.! 2 kilo sand in it when you survived the high roller, haha

Ah! comme j'aime la couleur de cette vague!
Même si j'habite sur le bord d'un lac, quand je vois une telle photo,
je rêve de me trouver dans cette eau si limpide tout comme Jamal.
Mais après avoir lu ta note, disons que j'essaierais d'être prudente...
Tu as dû prendre quelques minutes loin de l'eau après cette expérience plutôt stressante...

PS The surfers in Australia run a competition for the tallest wave ridden, this year it was won by a cahp off the south coast of Western Australia with a wave 9 metres tall.

That's a nice splash here, Els. And a lovely colour in the sea as well. There's not much to be seen of Jamal's surfing skills, though.
Hey, my sensor needs cleaning too, but the dust bunnies don't show up yet at f/16 or so ;o). I do clean it myself, as I don't want to part from the camera.
