Like in the picture of Sloten, here also is noise to be seen. So I have send the picture before resizing and the resized picture before sharpening to Janone and they are both perfect quality. So maybe I have to stop sharpening after resizing. Any ideas?

High time to show you a bit of the Aruban Landscape we have come to love.
How to do that.
You make sure your injured husband is sitting comfortable on the back seat, you drive to Tanki Flip and drive along the 4A to Paradera and then watch out for a sign to guide you through a small road to the Rock Formation. There you look for a shaded area under a tree, against a garden wall and squeeze the small car into that space, make sure your husband has water and you walk (for free) in a well maintained garden. The masses go to the high rock at the right, but you know that at the left is also quite a nice and less well known rock, So armed with camera and tripod you carefully climb up and then this is the result.
I am looking here towards Oranjestad where you can see the huge cruise ships - well cruise mega cities is more like it.
In the WS I will show you on the map where this attraction can be found.
.
Aruban time here is 12.34 - hottest time of the day.
.
Have a wonderful weekend, and maybe your cruise ship will dock in Oranjestad sometime, be sure to visit this place and then ask the taxidriver to bring you to the Manchebo Beach for a few hours of relaxation.
There is a shower next to the pool and you can change there as well.
.

You picked a beautiful spot to capture this lovley landscape, Els. I love the red roofs and the horizon with the ships. I have been fortunate enough to have been on one of those cruise ships and this brings back good memories. Lovley detail and colour and very interesting.
Warm Regards,
Wanda
PS it is official I go to Scotland the 13th.

Hoi Els,

Bedankt!

Groetjes, Nel

Hi Els,
A superb view of this island paradise! Nicely composed and exposed with interesting and unusual foreground detail. The large rocky outcrops (minus the cacti) in this suburban landscape, somehow reminds me of seaside settlements I saw in Connemara, in the west of Ireland. The whole scene looks a bit cooler there though!
Well done!
Best wishes
Bill

Hello Els,

How lovely to see houses nestling into the area without completely changing everything!

Great pov! It is nicely layered with a great dof!
The notes help to make this really interesting!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Slaapze.

Well done...
George

he, interesting place.
I hope that the houses where built after that rocks have landed.

(or water)"...
Dany :-)

Helo Els,
I like this landsacape . I hope that the huge rocks won't roll on the houses . I think you found the solution to the noise . Sometimes when I over sharp it gaves me the same results . Most of the time It doesn't need to be sharpen and if you do so the result is not better . I always take a look at an oversize portion before sending, just in case . Have a good evening .
Daniel

Hi Els,
Wonderfully detailed look at these ginat rocks that leand into the lovely small homes that contrast so nicely with the castus vibrant green tropical plants. The cruise ship in the distance completes this beautiful tropical paradise composition.
