WOW this capture really pops! excellent POV taken on a good angle with sharp detail and good contrast. I like how you got the right hand bottom corner of the tiles to match in the corner of the shot and the drop shadow gives a fantastic 3D effect.

From what I see I'd say it is a luxurious parking lot for bikes, hehehe...

Hmmm...at first this seemed to be a simple shot of interesting patterns and structural elements. Then I saw the bicycles in the distance and also realized that there seem to be benches around this space...almost completely camouflaged by the change in color from dark to light on the wall. Lots more to consider than first meets the eye:) Well done!

Pure perspective... ceiling color helps to concentrate on the graphic of the whole shot, and its B/W.
Diagonal lines in the floor pattern are also very good stressed.

Goed John, Mr. John Tulip, wat hier hebben wij? Heel wat vierkanten allen in zwart en wit bovenop dat een blauwe fluweelkemphaan aan het eind een fiets. Een vreemde samenstelling, maar houd ik van het aan het eind, vertel me geen waarom, maar het aardig kijkt, bijna een modern stuk van art. Zo moet ik u mijn complimenten geven - opnieuw.

Hi John,

That sounds like a nice endeavour to go on a two day Shooting Holland tour! Would like to do that one day myself, just don't manage to find the time and also it's more fun to do it with a friend photographer. But most of my friends have other hobbies ;-).
Nice view. The bike really had to be in there. Have to get used to the shaded framing I guess.

Nice set-up, John - well composed.
The bicicle in the bg is a nice touch, gives the pristine geometry a 'human' touch.
Noticed the floor left front needs some mopping (maybe a PS mop might do the trick?)

Ja,ja, er komt een dag en dan ga je er voor. Echte Street Art van het antieke soort.
Heel goed gezien, prima vastgelegd en prachtig verzorgd gepresenteerd! Goed gedaan jochie, een tien met griffel.

John, niet om te slijmen of zo, maar deze had ik al een tijdje in de gaten en ook al wel eens bekeken en zo... zonder even een commentaartje achter te laten.
Nu dan: hoe langer ik er naar kijk, hoe beter ik deze vind. Echt. Qua compositie een meesterwerkje. Vooral door de vloer, maar wat ik er echt knap aan vind is die ene dwarsligger, die dwars geplaatste fiets.
Eerst dacht ik dat het plafond last had van een moiré-effect, maar toen zag ik dat het eigenlijk de vloer is die wordt weerspiegeld.
Kijk, 't is simpel: als deze van mij was dan hing ie nu aan de muur, 50x70 of zo ;o).

You always have beautiful landscapes, but I think you also have a good eye for the geometrics, as in this shot as well as your "4 Lead-ins in Montreal". The design of the tile and the appearance of the bicycle give much interest.
