This is the bridge I cross over every day, and every day it brings me joy again, especially when I return to my house. You have the most beautiful views from this bridge to the houses on the Noordereiland, to the other famous Rotterdam bridge 'the Erasmus' and further on to the harbour and the cranes.
The wind or storm (not rain) is actually always nice, because it seems to come freely over the water. And at night, the river is so dark and beautiful.........and I can go on like that for a while.

This is a picture I could not upload on TE, because there was too much post-processing involved. I was just playing a bit in PS to improve my skills, and suddenly there was this one. With the magnetic lassotool I copied the bridge on a second layer, saturated the red a bit, and the other layer I desatured all the colors. After that I have done something with I think 'replace color', but I am unable to reproduce it again somehow. But the sky turned into something very dramatic, and I liked the result. I hope you like it too.

Great combination and use of B&Red! The post-pro you've made is really interesting for the mood it brings. Thanks to Adam again for creating this site witch give us more liberty to express ourself! Well done very creative Rinie.

Great post-processing, Rinie! The result you got is an interesting "black & red" shot, with a nice and almost slightly surreal geometrical effect provided by the bridge in this landscape. And I agree with you about the sky, it really came out excellent. Well done.

A bold experiment that gave you the opportunity to explore your creative side of photography Rinie.Well done.

Welcome to TL Rinie and would be looking forward to see your creativity here. Here, it is not about geography but photographic art. Thank you for your comment Rinie.

Very good! Abeautiful graphical study. The sky is very dramatic and the contrast with the red of the bridge is great. Thank you for this artistic impression and thank wou Adam for giving us the possibility to express ourselves.

I really like the effects! The red against the B&W is very powerful and striking.
The effect on the clouds is very dramatic too.
Very well done!

Very very smart PP work. This is a delightful artsitic work. I like all the lines here. Great photo.

The effect of the B&W (almost a negative film?) highlighted by the bright red suits the Willemsbrug very well Rinie!
Heel knap gedaan, wat voel ik mij 'n kluns dat ik dat nog niet kan, ik ben so a-technisch!... :o)))

superb workshop Rinie! I love it. so unreal, yet real. It could well be the result of a lithography work . sincere congrats:-)

Rinie, Great work, I like it very much! I have placed it in the theme folder entitled "aNyThInG hIgHlY pOsT-pRoCeSsEd." Thanks and God's best to you, Tim

I like the splash of color in with all the darks. The clouds are interesting also.

This is a very creative version of your image. It feels dramatic, making the bridge very majestic and the sky impressive. Nice experiment, and fun too.
Well done.

It somehow looks like a negative!! Well done ,i like the picture especialy the origal impression you gave this one.. Well done!!

Hello Rinie!
First of all, it was so nice to discover you here in TL as well:)) and what a stunning photo! very unusual, very creative, very original! It looks like a negative with a brightly red bridge and is something I never saw here before. When comparing it to the WS, I'm not sure which of them I prefer more as both are very good.

WELL DONE,

Shelly.
