Dit is hier uitermate geslaagd. Strak, eenvoud (maar niet eenvoudig om te zien heb ik vaak gemerkt), contrastrijk...gewoonweg mooi en goed gedaan!

Very good to recognize the characteristics of an artist ;)
Good work John and the link to my work is there, for sure. Normally I add one person; a so called Huuboid!
But I pay them; you did not know that, I guess.
I like especially here the small transition into the frame, that little shading line, causing a feeling of 3D.

hi john, i was commenting on vandanas recent similar post of how much i love these types of shots-this included!
the composition is great and i really like the stripes and lines in the wall plus the design in the window,
this really makes me want to get this type of shot, very well seen and take!

A nice tribute to Huub, John. I think it is a good impression of Huubs style, but I think that would be even stronger if presented in b&w.

There's another easy way for perspective correction: activate the crop tool, check the 'perspective' field and then you can drag the corner markers towards the correct angle. If you keep Shift pressed, the markers move in one direction only, so you can concentrate on that angle... also, do it one side at a time, if not the result gets quite impredictable...

Strak weergegeven, maar niet te - die oude bakstenen maken het prettig en mooi van kleur.
Die tekening op de luiken schijnt te duiden op het horen bij een landgoed of kasteel - alleen zij mogen precies die tekening en die kleuren gebruiken.

I love it. I love the colors that don't realy match. I love the pattern on the shutters. I love the texture of the brick wall.I love the old hinges on the shutters, I love the composition and the position of the window in it. In one word, I love it.
