[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Talking with a cool biker dude I noticed a little note on his bike.

Loud pipes, save lives

I didn't get it at first, so he explained it to me with a gentle voice and Flemish accent: 'When there are schoolkids, they can hear my bike coming from streets away and they won't run onto the street. Oh, and they also like the noise and think it's a cool bike!'

A true livesaver he is ;-).

A photograph of the 'cool bike' can be found in the workshop!

Dit soort technische fotoos gedetailleerd mag ik graag zien Dennis, leuk dat je ook eens wat andere dingen probeert wat mensen niet van je kennen(zie je meteen aan de waarderingen)....
Wanneer ga lekker internetten in Irak?

Cool bike, I like the originality behind your image, it is a fine well focused picture.TFS h

whooweee!! I looked at the WS and that bike looks SO uncomfortable!...I would last about 20 miles and then have to stop! There are two schools of thought on that, one, like you said, people can hear and run....but there are also folks who turn their heads and stare, therefore losing control of their own vehicles! My bike is QUIET.... and I like it that way! Very nice shot of this old bike Dennis! Do you ride???

Good one, very well done Dennis, thanks!

Mario

Hello Dennis,
Nice crop, color, and a good statement made with this shot. Also, since the bikes aren't as easily seen as a car on the highways, when I hear the "loud pipes", I look around until I find the bike it belongs to for safety reasons.
The yellow and black/white pattern of the bike from your workshop is like our taxi cabs--was this bike for hire?
Thanks for sharing,
Karen
