[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in the zoo. The bird stood not to far away on a tree branch and I was waiting for it to open its beek. When he finally did, it almost went wrong because it was just a split second and some small kid came screaming and jumping next to me, right when I wanted to take the shot. I was glad that one image from the burst of shots I took came out like this. To bad there is some OE around the bird because of the direct sun light, but I am still pleased with the result.

Cheers,
Pedro

Hoi Pedro,
a fine pose of this cormoran well captured. The used f-stop just fits, the blurry background enhances the bird! Well done Pedro, an interesting and wonderful posting.

A nice cormorant (aalscholver), Pedro. Excellent pose you captured, the OE on its back makes it come loose from the backdrop (even better than the shallow DoF does). I think the bokeh in the bright bits in that backdrop make it a little too busy, so I think I'd apply selective darkening of the entire background. Just my opinion, of course.

Hi Pedro,

A nice photo taken. The perfect sharp and detailed shot. I like the blur background too much. Well done!

Hello Pedro,

I think this is excellent.
You obviously knew exactly what you wanted to capture!
I don't think the tiny bit of OE detracts from the shot at all! You have achieved super details, a very interesting pose and a good portrait type composition!
Well done!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Nicely captured Pedro and lucky you were in burst mode. The OE is not overly distracting and the bird has good colour and detail. TFS,
David

Strong image, good action shot, nicely compose and exposure is just right. good contrast. I like contrasty images..))

Good portrait of this cormorant. Actually from your two posts, I prefer this one.

Ik begin meer-en-meer bewondering te voelen ...
voor die lens.
Nope ! Kletsen geven mag niet meer ;-)

Mooi !

" ach " ...

Groetjes
Jan
