Lovely perspective, John. You chose a perfect POV for this shot. Your exposure is very well managed. I can't read the title much but after adjusting my monitor to sRGB, it's perfect! Thanks for this that I was able to decipher what's wrong with my desktop monitor :)

I like the darker tones here, John. My husband was Marine Patrol in Ottawa for a time, but their boat did not look like this beauty. I like the inclusion of the dock and the angle you have presented it at. You can see the city thru the glass on the window. Cool. Excellent presentation.

John, zo'n blik over het water is altijd erg rustgevend.
Moet even een persoonlijke mening geven hier die niets met de foto heeft te maken. De drop shadow trekt voor mijn gevoel iets teveel aandacht door zijn breedte.

Hello John!

I have been off-line for sometime . Did not go anywhere this year with Martine, but just needed a break from posting. This photo is bringing me sweet memories of...... Rotterdam. Yep back in 1978, our ship was anchored in Maashaven. After a long night ashore , we came back on board on a boat similar to this one . Yep the Harbour Police brought us home.

They gladly assisted us, since we had no taxi boat (^_^). We slept a few hours at the Seamen Center after a bign night out visiting Clubs of the Centrum..... ( Note I was signle and twenty years young ).

Speaking of age.What a coincidence, it is your birthday today. Congratulations and I hope you had a great Day ( It is already finished due to the time differential. I am sure Yolanda took well care of you .

An angel must have told my spirit to post a tulip today ! Believe it or not, despite the funny title of my post, I had no idea it was your birthday today. Linda , wrote me a comment that light me up !

Welcome to the twilight zone.......
