It's a pretty picture, certainly a great background for a photo session. I'm not so fond of all the "action" happening behind you daughter's head, and think that a shallow depth of field would have been justified. Did you try a shot with your model sitting in the tulip field, with only her head, or head and shoulders popping above the flowers? I sure envy you for that awesome background!

Wonderful image. So at least you got Astrid so far to pose. You must be proud to have such a fine daughter posing for you in the wonderful tulip fields. Give her a compliment too Jan, maybe she will pose more often :-)

Wat een mooie bloem tussen al die tulpen ;o)

Mooi portret, Jan. Ergens vind ik het een beetje jammer dat de tulp die ze vastheeft een andere kleur heeft, maar da's natuurlijk maar een detail. Heel mooi van kleur, ondanks de grote scherptediepte springt het echte onderwerp er mooi uit.

Drie keer is scheepsrecht. Gisterenavond was TL kennelijk overbezet/of het internet en ik kon er niet doorkomen.
Hi Jan,

Even opnieuw dus.
O ja, laat je mooie dochter niet direct in het licht kijken zodat ze niet vroegtijdig "knijp"rimpels om haar ogen krijgt.
Het is ook heel mooi als haar haar van achteren belicht wordt en met een invul flits krijg je toch een mooie lichtreflectie in haar ogen.
Ik wil ook proberen meer portretten te gaan doen, maar dan ook wel zo spontaan mogelijk.
Gewoon continue transport na goede instelling en klikken maar.

Wie weet wil Astrid wel voor je poseren nu ze het resultaat ziet en als je haar laat kiezen welke in de prullebak mogen haal je haar wellicht over!

Hahaha, Jan dit is gewoon te grappig :-).
Sorry dat ik even de tijd neem om langdurig naar je dochter te staren.... Maar ik zit me af te vragen of ze de ogen lichtjes dicht knijpt tegen de zon, of ze een lach in houdt omdat jij bijna achterover in een sloot dondert, of dat ze een lichte gène heeft voor de camera :-).

Difficult to chose one photo in your impressive gallery ( I was off-line for a month ....). But I have to take this one.
I understgand you very well here. Despite the impressive environment, I like her as she stands proudly, among the thousands of similar tulips, holding a different colored one.
