Very striking image here Janneke! The composition is powerful, the eye plus the camera present a scrutiny of the observer. Excellent work with the saturation/desaturation of various elements, the recurring blues, and the depth of field is fantastic.

Voici une photo très semblable à la dernière que j'ai publée et pourtant le résultat est très différent. Il est vrai que 30 ans séparent les 2 clichés, mais pour un photographe le fait de se cacher derrière son appareil reste le même

Oi, goed bedacht, dat ook van je trekt alle aandacht naar zich toe!
Janneke, leuk koppie en elegante vingertjes - een zelfportret een fotografe waardig.
Heel erg mooi licht op je huid en haar - prettige kleuren zo.

PS Vanochtend nog maar een tweede moederdag gevierd - de kleinkinderen vinden het heerlijk in onze tuin - hier hebben ze ieder een huisje met een rieten dakje en water om te spelen...

Brrr ik vind dat je er nog al heftig op staat Jan,je kijkt dwars door me heen en de donkere plek onder je oog en de strakke mond maken het allemaal nog meer bizar.
Al met al heel indrukwekkend werk .

Hallo Janneke.
Als dit geen Blauw oog is, dan weet ik het niet meer.
Prachtig zelfportret heb je hier van jezelf gemaakt.
Tis dat mijn haar niet zo blond en lang is anders deed ik je na.!
Mijn groene ogen zouden volgens mij ook best staan, al zien ze het niet meer zo scherp, haha

This is a very interesting shot. I can imagine it was tricky to focus on the mirror and not the process.
Great idea muting everything except your blue eye, and enhancing that color at that--it's great the way the blue is also picked up in the camera lens as well.
Very well composed and presented.
