Ja enig... Wat heerlijk bekkie heeft die meid.
En natuurlijk een prachtige foto. Geweldig zoals je de viezigheid op haar snoet hebt laten zitten.
Mooie bewerking ook, al denk ik dat ik zelf misschien dat donkere deel rechts iets zou hebben opgelicht om niet teveel aandacht te vragen... Als je dan toch bezig bent.... ;-)

Een hele leuke plaat hoor.

Lovely soft effects in the photo .... I like the feminine touch here ... makes your subject looks delicate. Shallow DOF is good to isolate Lois. Wonderfully captured and composed. Tonal range and contrast is also good. Excellent work! tfs

Ok, as you say the original photo has horrible burnt out background and green skin. At this point you should have deleted it! You have put a lot of effort into ps work to try to correct it, but I'm sorry it still looks a mess.
Rather than put all this effort into photoshop, better to arrange another shoot and try again. Do your ps work on good shots not bad ones.
Next time Be aware of whats going on in the background, anything distracting? Fill the frame. As a beginner I would avoid using flash as this can create harsh shadows.
Take lots of shots and make sure you focus on the eyes.
Its much more satisfying to get things right in camera.

With all due respect to sticks (a professional photographer), I really like this one. The BG is not perfect, but it actually adds to the light in this. Great composition: (i like the the placement of the face within the frame) and FAR more than a family album snapshot -- it is the capture of a precious moment and coutns for full marks from me

B&W works very well here. No complaints of sharpness this time - the light in her eyes gives additional life to the lovely smile. A slighly tighter crop will also work to remove much of the background. (I like the extreme cropped workshop).

Mooie foto van deze spontaan ogende dame. In eerste instantie begreep ik niet goed waarom hij niet in kleur is maar na het lezen van je note begrijp ik het. Prachtig werk vanuit de originele foto.
