Unknown flying animal
I found this one in my garden, just one of it. It is not bigger than 4 mm. It hovers like a bumble-bee and is able to hover at the same place.
It has 4 wings, two small ones and two bigger ones.
Can somebody give me the name?
I could not trace its name in Google.

what is this? it's simalar at cotton...nice macro

some sort of moth perhaps best to put it up on treknature as someone is sure to know what this strange insect is..

I don't know what they are, but a very similar insect is found here as well, they don't last a very long time, though, perhaps a couple of weeks. TFS I tried to get one two years ago but the camera was giving me fits at the time. TFS Great dof.
