[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Die einzeln stehenden, zwittrigen Blüten sind schraubig aufgebaut und duften oft. Die Blütenfarben reichen von weiß bis verschiedenen blau, rot oder gelb schattiert; Sorten können auch orange, grün, violett oder lila blühen. Die meist vier (selten drei oder fünf) freie Kelchblätter sind meist grünlich. Es sind sechs bis 50 freie Kronblätter vorhanden. Die 20 bis 750 freien Staubblätter sind alle fertil. Die fünf bis 35 Fruchtblätter sind zu einem oberständigen oder teilweise unterständigen Fruchtknoten teilweise oder ganz verwachsen. Der Griffel endet in gleich vielen breiten und konkaven Narben wie Fruchtblättern. Die Bestäubung erfolgt durch Insekten (Entomophilie).Es gibt nacht- und tagblühende Arten.

A neat picture, you have a damsel-fly in the right side too. The flower is placed a bit too central and the sharpening just a bit overdone.
