Back to vacation shots...

OH I just do not understand why it has taken me over 20 minutes to get this shot to upload!
could it be the extesnive PP work.. Would that make the photo larger...

Well I had to make this smaller then I wished and also when saving I had to lower the quality ratio to 9 to get this shot under the bytes... I wish I really understood what I am doing wrong..



Anyway... Here is Noah in Simpson bay all alone with his raft and thoughts.. I think he was watching the fish and trying to figure out how to capture one:)


PP work was extensive..
Selected Noah and raft
selected inverse then lowered saturation almost all the way.. I did not like the gray of the ocean so I added a little tint and hue...

I posted a shot yesterday that I had edited outside and after checking it on TL on my main computer it was FULL of noise so I deleted it... I wonder why I could not see noise on my laptop but it was a mess on the main system???? any ideas>>>>

Wonderfully done artwork on this image. I like your note, have similar issues at times but would not have a clue what to do. Noah looks in deep thought and thus presents a very nice mood to your composition.

Noise is VERY hard to see outside, even harder than fish under a restless sea :)
(sorry you deleted the image, I seem to remember liking it despite the noise)
The outrageous colours of this make ti fun and original. Superb composition, fine details, fun notes

I do like how you have the bright colours of the raft and your son are left to hold our eye here, Tricia. I like the gold tones even if it is just a bit unnatural. Well done and well presented.

Nice work on this Tricia! I love what you did here, it really makes Noah stand out! I have no idea about the laptop, other than my screen at home is HD and the one at work is NEANDERTHAL!!... HAHA! I have to process at home!

your photo has a lot of drama and life.
the colors on the raft and the boy are great and clear.
i would have preferred the water to be another color but nevertheless, a well compose and a good contribution to this week's theme. kudoS!

An excellent shot here and good choice for desat work. The Noah and the raft look really 3D and its very effective, nicely positioned in the shot too.
