| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
So this was another shot from the same day at the seaside in Netherlands... I've to say it's pretty difficult to take a picture of an animal that doesnt want its picture to be taken :) But sometimes a horse gets a tiny bit nosy, and that's about the time to use the opportunity. Well photoshopped hard I'd say, using different types of layers and filters, but imho those two look a bit better with this tiny color kick than before.
ps: as to the sky question.... Lets call it a taste thing, as i really had no intention to leave them look all that natural :) I personally like the change, but thanks a lot for your comment :) |

Hoi Marina,
Nice position of the horses; good compo. Good sharpness too.
The sky-colors however have not become better due to your photoshopping. The horse-colors are oke.
greetings,
Joop!

Wow... did you really take this picture just a month ago??? If you'd ask me I'd say this is a picture from the 60's, specially when I look at the yellow glow that's all over the picture.
I really think it has a very special effect which I like!
Can you also post the original image in the WS for me please?? I'd really like to see that and compare the two.
Sometimes it can be pretty difficult to get the sky right, specially with such bright sunlight...
In this case the whole picture just.... fits!
Cheers,
Anneke
Hay Marina,
I like what you did here. Normally it isn't a great picture. But you did the right choice to put it in vintage/color crossed settings. This kind of postprocessing is a trend in glossy magazines nowadays. Did you use Photoshop actions? Anyway this postprocessing gives a boost to the original. Well done and keep on experimenting.
