Vorig jaar heb ik een paar maanden een zwaan met 7 jongen gevolgd tot ze volwassen waren; ze zijn nog steed bij elkaar!

The evening light is s great plus on your shot. It turns the swand feathers sort pink an amber.

Hello Hans,if you happen to go fishing on the river Don while on your visit to my home town,give my brother in-law Robert Dempster a call,he is the gillie for a large stretch of the river & he may show you some good fishing.

Deze is zonodig nog mooier dan de vorige van dit prachtige stel. Ook hier weer het zachte licht van de ondergaande zon... prachtig die gloed.
Verder zijn de reflecties ook heel mooi en subtiel.
Je hebt ook een heel mooi moment gepakt... moeders kijkt toe op haar kroost. Een bijna devoot "gebaar"...

Hi Hans - nice sharp evening light, good compo. Maybe I'd have cloned out the darker bits behind the swan's tail, but I guess there are many ways to 'skin a cat'.

Hmm what was that about no shots with "Maternal feeling" This is absolutely lovely. Very nice placement within the framing of both the hen and the cygnets. Lovely sharp detail and wonderful warm sunset tones. A really lovely shot my friend.
