[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A few weeks ago I went to the National Park Veluwezoom. A diverse landscape of headland, sand dunes and forest. I've never visited this park before, and I was blown away by the steep hills and the open structure of the landscape. I spent the entire afternoon going up one hill and down the other. At a certain point during the day I came to this point and knew that it could have some potential for a sunset photo. Not because of the high position but aslo because a parking space was close by. Allowing me to drive to this location and leave in darkness.

Arriving at the location a few hours later I noticed that all the clouds were gone. Meaning that the sunset wouldn't be as great as I was hoping for. But I did want to stay and get something to show.

Tech talk:
Everything manual, mirror lock up, tripod and remote release. A 0.9 ND hard grad was used to balance the exposure.

Hi Niek,
Lovely end of day image with the tranquil pink sky looming over the peaceful valley.
The winding dirt road adds excellent to depth to this fine landscape.
Regards, Tom
