| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This happy family of Nile geese was taken in the late afternoon. This species seems to do very well in the city since I happen to see them more and more. I never saw their offspring yet. These seem to be quite early out of their shells.
-The lighting was very good resulting in warm saturated colors. I felt stupid when I noticed I had forgotten to check my iso setting and this seemed way too high. So, I had to remove some noise during the processing of my Raw format. What I normally do is some Raw processing first and give it some extra sharpness too. Then when I open up in PS I use 'layer curve'. Then 'shadow/highlights' and then I make use of 'Labcolors'. On this one I applied 'mask' and 'invert' during Labcolors process. Then I did apply some mild 'unsharp mask'.- |

Nice shot of the mother goose and her young - well lit and well presented with the strong border.
Thanks for sharing
