Hi Niek,
Goed om weer eens een inzending van je op TL te zien. Prachtig dat contrast van de sneeuw en de donkere twijgjes, geen pakken sneeuw, maar heel subtiel. De kinderen geven de foto mooi diepte en geven eveneens de grote van de eiken aan. Een prachtig winterse foto!

very nice sense of scale between human and the big tree. the strong colours of their jackets makes beautiful 'dots' on the winter scene here, Niek. well done!

Mooie foto hoor! De meeste nederlandse Tl-ers zijn met de lentefoto's bezig, en dan komt er ineens een echte winterfoto langs....:)
De mensen geven inderdaad wat kleur aan de foto.

Maybe I am supposed to comment on your latest photo but after looking at your latest gallery page, I was attracted to this. The trees shown here are beautiful. It's natural structure is beautifully emphasized. The human images makes your composition complete. The only weak part are the shadows on the foreground, but then again if you made it darker it will distract.

I always fine the light in Holland seems special and this image is no exception. You are right the people really make this image click for me as they add a colourful focal point of interest.

You have captured that hoar frost on the trees very well. I like this composition ,with the large trees to the far right with their branches reaching into the rest of the space. The people add scale & a nice touch of warm colour Niek.Well worth the short wait for them to appear. Colourful winter scene.
