Ja als ze te voorschijn komen uit grond begint het nieuwe jaar helemaal eens, heb ze hier in de polder nog niet gezien.

Mooie plaat met mooie lang schaduwen. Oer Hollands.

I agree!!! Spring is my favorite time of year Jan. I would love to see all the fields of flowers in your country at this time of year.(are these crocuses?) Lovely springtime shot - maybe a little dark in the foreground with that shadow from the right, but still a nice shot.

Mooi plaatje! Prachtig he, die lente en die prachtige kleuren! Ik geniet er ook zo van. Mijn zoon zei vandaag: Mam, ik heb weer overal zin in!!! Wat het seizoen al niet met je doet he!!

It reminds me of a famous Beatles song: "Strawberry fields forever", in this case violet fields....
Gorgious coloured field, very enjoable composition. A real hymn to Spring (in all ancient culture the real begining of the year) - But this wearysome winter doesn't want to go!
