[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This year in April I went with two classes (year 7) to the Netherlands. We were on two old sailing ships - both around 100 years old - and sailed on the "Ijsselmeer" and the North Sea.
On the North Sea, somewhere between Harlingen and Vlieland we anchored for the night and fell dry - a great experience for the children!
The sunset was wonderful, warm light, clouds and the Wadden Sea. I took lots of photos (this one with a polariser) and I think this one is worth to be shown here.

PP: adjusted sharpness, straightened the horizon, adjusted contrasts slightly, resized

Hi Britta,
Wonderful evening scene with gorgeous colours of sunset. I like these soft, warm tones very much, the diffused light seems to work quite well at this composition. Minimalist photo, but definitely a calm and relaxing scene. TFS!

Hallo Britta,
Tolle Farben dieser sonnenlose sunset. Ich hoffe ihr wart nicht völlig auf dem trockenen, denn mit so vielen Kiddies auf einem Schiff hätte ich mit sicherheit einen Schluck für die Nerven nötig gehabt. Mich würde wirklich interessieren, wie das Bild ausschaut - ohne Polfilter. Bei Sonnenuntergang habe ich den noch nie benutzt. Vielleicht zeigst du es uns ja mit deinem 100sten post.
