Neatly Arranged

Here is another impression from my trip on an old traditional sailing ship with two of my classes just a week ago.
It was a great experience for the children to learn that you really have to work to get from one harbour to another. They had to help with the sails and all the hawsers on board. And they had to arrange the hawsers neatly to make sure that the next manoeuvre will work.
So I can say that this image shows a common sight on board of traditional sailing ships. And that although my students are mostly great in causing chaos!
To put emphasize on the age of the sailing ship / the historical aspect I changed the image to sepia, cropped away the left part, adjusted contrasts and added frames.
I hope you like what I did. Thanks for having a look. All critiques and comments are welcome.
Have a great rest of the week. Kindest regards, Britta |

Hallo Britta,
Fine composition of this traditional sailing rope, I always love those photos that present an everyday subject, sometimes in special context, sometimes only the subject itself. Fine black and white tones, well aplied narroe DOF. Sepia tones really give it an antique feeling. TFS.
Greetings,
Kristof
Halo Britta,
interessantes Bild.
Egal wie - take it easy.
Gruss aus dem grauen Süden,
Thomas
