[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello dear TL-friends,

For the Brass music this month is the biggest event in the world: the WMC (World Music Contest) in Kerkrade, Netherlands.
This event happens once in four years; you can enjoy magnificent march and show by marching bands and show orchestras.
There are also competitions for harmony and fanfare orchestras and small ensembles.
Moreover, there are also competitions for conductor.

Here you see the Marchingband Delta Band from Vlissingen (Flushing), this is a town in our province of Zeeland.
Yesterday they won a gold medal in the march contest, just like the last time!

This time I sat on the tribune between the supporters of this wonderful orchestra, but the last time I was the drum-major and then we have won gold too!

Now you know: this kind of music is another hobby of me....I enjoy it very much!

I need one of those 300 mm lens to isolate a scene just like this. Wonderful composition, my eyes are treated with fantastic colors, precise marching, and vivid colors. Greetings!

Hi Adri,
A very bright and clear shot, good use of the zoom. They all seem nicely frozen from the semi-fast shutter speed, and the green grass really makes them stand out. Interesting note too :).

They look like little tin soldiers, the green grass is very vivid. Not so keen on the big frame tho. Well done.

Hallo Adri,

Een heel mooi gezicht, de band vanaf dit punt.
Gewacht op het juiste moment w.b. plaats en licht en dat is goed gelukt. De bandleden zijn mooi in de vakken geplaatst.
