I like the way they really fill the frame well. They seem a bit blurred on the edges, but I like the overall effect. I may try a workshop.

Wonderful composition. Great colours. The thumbnail intrigued me to. I send you a workshop.
Because the photo is not sharp (jpeg sharp I mean) and I think you can make more out of this.
We zitten op TL om te leren. Ik heb zelf op deze mannier al veel geleerd.

De compositie en de kleuren zijn prima, maar je foto is vreselijk onscherp. Dat kan bijna ook niet anders met f2.8 en 1/12. Ga er van uit dat je uit de hand toch minstens 1/60 nodig hebt, liever nog meer. En f2.8 is ook wel erg weinig, dan kan je vrijwel geen scherptediepte hebben in een foto. In dit geval zou ik toch rond f5.6 of 5.8 zijn gaan zitten. Als er te weinig licht is kan je de iso-waarde verhogen (400 iso geeft ook prima foto's) of er een lampje bij slepen :-)

Wij noemden dit altijd rotsplanten omdat ze in heel weinig zand tussen de keien konden groeien; heb ik wel goede herinnering aan.
Ze zijn hier lekker bezig geweest met workshops Josine; leuk als dat gebeurt.
Dat de foto niet zo scherp is, kan ik mee leven, de kleuren vangen dat gewoon op.

Hi Josine,
nice to meet you, I love nature photos and I really liked this one,I love Photography also. Nature is best and seascapes and landscapes I like rustic areas do not like people in my photos and since it is a hobby where you do not need two to play it is perfect, don't have to bother anybody at all you can do your own thing. I too agree I do not like macho men either I like the sensitive kind, very hard to come by. Take care hope to see you again and keep up the good work.

a beautiful macro,but slightly out of focus I think.color adjustments bring the colors so soft to us,suits your compo.

Even a common old cactus can be attractive Josine. Lovely soft collourings and IMHO the blurring works well. TFS

Deine "Stachelschweine" hast Du hier herrlich gezeigt die roten Spitzen wunderschön, das ist auch meine Lieblingspflanze für den Steingarten. Ein sehr schönes Bild das mir sehr gefällt.

Someone gave me some of these plants a couple of years ago, but I must have a brown thumb: they didn't survive the winter!
