High Heeled Kronan

Kronan bicycles are built in Sweden and are also very popular in Holland. I personally fail to see the attractions these heavy duty and not elegant bikes have. But sometimes they look good as in this case.
Shot commuting from work to home waiting for a traffic light in Rotterdam.

PCS tech: heavily cropped; contrast, levels, curves & saturation (differentially) adjusted; altered the exposure of assorted elements; USM-ed; added noise added a frame and saved for the web.

Hehe, i'd have to agree wiht you Bert...these bikes do look heavy. But you managed it to look rather elegant in this shot anyway. The female touch of teh high heel lifts the scene quit well.

Hi Bert, you are now here too, I mean on TL. It seems Kronan is more a 'way of life' than a simple archaic bicycle. Woman's old style shoes participates to the mood of this unusual picture

Nice composition here. I like the fact we see just one leg with the shoe and the bicycle offsetting that. Good PP work maybe a bit too much grain added, I'd be interested to see a crisper shot before the grain. I like it, thanks for sharing.

the tihgt crop and the vivid colors with a strict composition seems to work here Bert..nice shot !!
