[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dead or alive ? No, don't think so ;o).

Amsterdam really pleased me, it's a busy but very cosy town. And, apparantly, they're in desperate need of policemen and policewomen...

I liked the way they attached this huge advertisment to the scaffolding. I deliberately didn't crop out the people in the bottom to show its size. We even saw a tram that was painted entirely like this ad ;o).

As for the picture on the ad, it's perfect! I love the low PoV the photographer used, and the setting in the urban environment. And the alert look of both officers is perfect. A job well done!

And no, I haven't been paid to post this picture ;o)

Should you be interested, here's a link to their job site.

nice picture Frank ,it sure looks their in desperate need of policeman in amsterdazm, for the picture i think it's ok , just for the overall cyaan teint ...think I will try a ws to correct it a little ...
Leon

The ad is great and definitely in a 'dutch' style. You couldn't help it and I like the way you framed the lot, but the massive presence of blue-ish colours, enhanced by the shadow, gives the picture a rather grim aspect.
I too tried a WS to 'correct'.
(thx for the job-offer but it's rather far to commute ;-) )

Great shot and this way it looks even a little
funny , colors are a little dull but ijn all:
Compliment and a Dutch Tulip
