...are primarily meant to let us pass over obstacles, of course. They also provide a metaphor for getting past some of the obstacles we come across in our lives...

Recently, two of my dear TL friends have been struck by illness: Kat and Diana. They have often been in my thoughts these last weeks.
Kat, Diana: get well soon!

Tech talk

Straightened.

Croppity-crop.

Levels & curves: reduced blue and reduced saturation range.

Cloned out part of our canal boat.

Added text, using the free font Planet Benson 2.
Blurred it and added a Diffuse glow effect to it twice, each with slightly different settings.

Downsized for TL and added a simple frame.

Very nice composition colours and subject.
Like very much the way the bridges fit into each other. Not sure if I like the frame.

Hi Frank,
a lovely photo. I really like the POV as we get to see repetitions with the bridge. Almost like looking with a mirror (if you know what I mean). Great lighting but what I really liked is the "graffiti" on the bridge arch... :)
My thoughts are with them too!

Excellent capture and well done on the composition. I like the perspective of the bridges, ifinity. The p.p. work is awesome, you made it as though it was written on the bridge, excellent work.

the repetition of the bridges makes the compo here Frank , very well seen and captured !!!

Fantastic composition using the bridge as a frame. The pattern of bridges one after the other is lovely and the note is very phylosophical. Well seen and captured.
