[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I sometimes like to take macro pictures. During a visit to a botanic garden in Arcen (The Netherlands) I saw this one and shot it. I forgot to write down the name of it. Does anybody know the name?
This is my first post on Treklens. I've been posting on Trekearth for sometime now.

welcome to TL, Jan- I like it but I don't like the shadow on the second flower I might have gotten a little closer I made a workshop but I when I tried to post it you don't allow workshops that ok, I know it sounds like I don't like it, thats not it at this is all IMO! cheers

For my part I think the shodow looks great on the second flower! These flowers look like small fans. Nice! Unfortunately I cannot help you to find their names. I am not a specialist :( Shame! but good luck for finding it!!

Hi Jan, welcome to TL, this is a wonderful macro, very good focus, clarity and detail, I like the mirror of the second flower behind the first (more is normally better than one)
;-), I must agree with Dave on the shadow though, although I realise you couldn't do much about it, nevertheless I like what you have done.
Good macro.
