[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Autumn in Swan Lake,
This is a combination of three photos. It is just an image create by me. Want to show the autumn colors in a powerful and peaceful way. For some reason its pops up in me.

Recipe:
Stop the car in a drive through the polder and take a sundown shot. Well it’s a nice sundown and store it a way. Swan always interests me most of the time they are in a bad mood. But I use him here for his symbolic value and beauty. This one came to me on full speed because his wife had children. Then yesterday I found this colorful leave and something forced me to capture that. Holding the leave and looking at it, this new image popped up in me.
Put all the images on different layers and scale them. Make layers transparent and bring them in place for the composition. Use clone and erase techniques to set it in the right proportions.
Re-render the swan with new light source to make him fit in lake. Use a quick mask to put the leave in the base photo. And frame it. Put it on your screen and keep looking at it. Change the things that are wrong. Ask your self can I put this on TL. Is it still a photo?



The swan is a symbol of light in many parts of the world. Though in some regions it was considered a feminine symbol of the moon, in most it was a masculine symbol of the sun. In ancient Greece, for example, the swan was linked to Apollo, the god of the Sun. The god Zeus took the shape of a swan to get close to Leda, with whom he had fallen in love. And in Celtic myth, a pair of swans steered the Sun boat across heaven. As a feminine symbol, the swan represents intuition and gracefulness, and goddesses such as Aphrodite and Artemis were sometimes accompanied by swans. Of course it is still a photo. Great work, Ruud, you really are a master with this PP stuff, but we knew that already. Love the symbolism and the great color scheme.

A few days not being on TL and I see another "switch" of you. From surreal pictures to "normal" pictures with great fog and mood to artistic picture the last four times. I musat say I like the last artistic pictures and here the first points. Later more, because I'm going through the galleries of all my TL-friens, for I was not many time on TL the last two weeks.

You are building a whole range of "Shop Art"! In this one the autumn colours are attractive. For all the work you did you get my smiley!

On your special request I give you my feedback but don’t want to influence your other fans.
You are trying to show it all in one, a kind of recycling. The whole is a bit overdone. For me you are the master of the single shot. Less is more! Trust your talent and let the camera do the job.

For sure you gave your sun, the photographer, wise lessons, and now he is reflecting.

First of all, I like the name "Swan Lake" as it's my favourite ballet performance written by my favourite composer. Secondly, the photo you created is amazing, no other words to describe it, and it conveys exactly what you said in the beginning: "the autumn colours in a powerful and peacful way". And thirdly,
