Yes, it is a nice place. Nice composition. If you could try to bring up a contrast a little bit. I think it would change the dynamics of this photo.

La foto è ottima e non ha bisogno di ulteriori contrasti ecc ( amio modesto parere!)
poi si sa che tutto a questo mondo è perfezionabile ma direi che qua siamo di fronte ad un ottimo lavoro e il risultato è evidentemente fantastico
la mia curiosità è solo che quel 18 mm mi sembrava un 12 o un 10
basta, fine delle domande. E' solo ora di godersi la tua foto

It's an amazing place, you must have good memories.
You were lucky with the weather, because the Lofoten are known for rainy days. Impressive mysterious mountains and clear waters (and the best fish you can imagine).

Hi Marco,
This is an awesome photo. I love your POV and the wonderful contrast between the ox blood cabin and the glacier colored water. The composition is very impressive with the rail leading the perfectly toward the mountain range. Both exposure, sharpness and clarity are superb.

Hi Marco,

This is a beautiful photo with an interesting way of framing the mountains with the buildings on either side. So many interesting things to view. I especially like the red house as well as the beautiful shades of blue in the water, sky, and hues on the mountains.

Hi Marco,
Great compopstion and perspective here. The small stairway and porch on the left, along with the red building on the right really give the eye some place to go.
The stairway's bend and angle from the wide angle lens draws the eye in and the red building gives it a boundary and let's it focus on the beautiful water, mountain and sky scene.
The workshops done here are all good efforts, but for me, in my taste, don't improve on your original at all. ;)

Definitely a photo that makes me want to visit Norway one day!
Effective composition with the terrace on the left as an excellent lead-in. Good light managment as well, considering you were standing in the shade. And the landscape, of course, is beautiful! ;o)
I just think the photo would still have a greater impact with a less predominant frame.

era da tanto tempo che volevo commentare questa splendida foto...

dai tempi di Grosseto, solo che allora non potevo perché non ero ancora in TL...

beh...
è fresca e limpida come l'aria di quelle mattine di primavera in cui il vento gira da nord e spazza via tutta la foschia residua dell'inverno.
Hai scelto una visuale davvero ricca di profondità, tra l'altro bene introdotta dalle strutture architettoniche laterali, e sei riuscito a cogliere i colori splendidi delle Lofoten e la luce descrivendole in modo perfetto.

Bravo!
